- Al Norton: How did Raising Hope come to be for you?
- Shannon Woodward: I came into the show a little bit late. They had already done the pilot and they decided to rework the character of Jimmy's love interest. I had read for the show originally and had never done a comedy before so I was a little bit scared and decided to pull myself out of the running. They came back and said, "if you're interested, we're still interested." I got to see the pilot they shot and it was so good and I was so flattered that they were interested that I said, "screw it, I'll figure out how to do it as I go." I did a screen test and was lucky enough that they decided to hire me and now I am just tagging on to their success train.

“When I was 6 I had 90210 high tops and just now I did a scene with Luke Perry where he grabbed my boob so I’m satisfied.”
Playing himself – and the Ghost of Arbor Day, Luke Perry pays a visit to Sabrina when she disapproves of the way the Chance family observe the environmentally friendly holiday. Perry’s episode will air in the spring. (x)
